The Under Secretary of State for the

Colonies presents his compliments to the Under Secre-

tary of State for Foreign Affairs, and in reply to his

note of the 18th June Lo.49/15 Parly.China is directed

to state that the Governor of Hong Kong has been in-

structed by telegraph to infon His ajesty's Consul

at Canton in due course of the arrival in the Colony

of the bag which is to be delivered to him.
